This certificate for roof application of Inno-Therm has been replaced to include roof application and extend cover of InnoTherm for sarking, installed between rafters as a thermally insulated pitched roof sarking system. The insulation is used in conjunction with a vapour-permeable roof tile underlay, treated-timber counter battens and tiling battens in tiled or slated pitch roofs. Designed and constructed in accordance with BS5534:2003 for dwellings.

The certificate also extends cover to timber frame for use between studding in the timber frame internal leaf of external walls of normal dwellings and buildings with similar temperature and humidity conditions.

When installed InnoTherm for timber frame is effective in reducing the u value (thermal transmittance of the inner leaf timber-framed wall of external walls with a slightly ventilated cavity. It is essential that such walls are designed and constructed to incorporate the normal precautions against moisture ingress.
