Recovery Insulation aims to:

• Conduct research into the reclamation of textile waste that would ordinarily go to landfill or be exported, for use as a secondary raw material and product development
• Encourage wider commercial usage and integrate sustainable materials in the building process
• Create employment and training opportunities for skilled and semi skilled people who have been made redundant from steel and coal mining industries
• To design a training programme for people with learning disabilities that extends and enrichs their work capability

Recovery Insulation works in association with the Schools & Homes Energy Education Project.
